Some tips for new members: you can change your email under the my account option at the top of the page. also, there is a 30day trial in which you;ll receive a free issue of the magazine and more info on the member benefits. if after 30 days you decide not to continue, just give them a call and they'll cancel you out. Benefits: bi-monthly magazine free gifts member's only website discounts from the club and other companies and more....

DC Visitors center, inaccurate Hello History Channel Club, I just joined myself, perhaps here’s a new topic; the new underground DC Visitors center is historically inaccurate and incomplete: according to this video link I’ve pasted below… See what you think about it. War on God…

Why is everything here only American history? The History Channel Magazine has only American history, but the History Channel itself has a lot of international history. Why doesn't the magazine and this website have any international history?

While the History channel magazine is affiliated with the History Channel, they are separate entities. The magazine club is part of the North American Membership Group (you can see the links at the bottom of the page), so it focuses on America. I agree that I would like to see something on other countries, but I don't think it'll happen. In the mean time, i'll just have to enjoy the channel.

I am a lifetime member. Can anyone guide me thru actually entering these contests? Everytime I sign in and click register to win absolutely nothing happens. Doesn't it give you some type of confirmation. I find the website thus far to be very disappointing.

Make sure that the top of the screen says Welcome XXXXX(your username). Then click on which contest you'd like to enter. Click the ENTER button, and it should take you to a screen that says Thanks for your entry (or something to that effect). If that screen is not appearing, you may need to email memberservices@thehistorychannelclub.com, explaining what happens. Any other questions? Just let me know! I'm always happy to help fellow members!

I was also wondering the same thing. No where on the website does it tell you how much the membership costs, just that it is a free 30 day trial period.

For those who are unaware of the cost of the membership. It is $12 a year. You'll probably receive an invoice for $24, because you get a discount on the 2nd year. Otherwise, it's $18 to renew each year. I was on the phone with them the other day, and they said they also have a special over the phone rate when it gets close to your expiration date.

I just received the sept/ oct.
I need to correct misinformation that Cleveland won the '54 World Series. The fact of the matter is that my loved NY Giants took the series over the favored Indians not the other way around. Dusty Roads was the hitting hero.
