NO I don't agree with President Obama, Socialist governments have failed where it was tried. Obama is going to turn this country into a third world country. I don't feel he believes in our Constitution and what it stands for and never has. The Electoral College should have stopped his taking office. He has yet to show his birth records and has spent over a million dollars to keep them private. The people who elected him don't even know know what he believes in. I Pray for America.

In this morning's paper was an article stating the current administration has spent more money in 200 days than the previous 43 Presidents added together. This is stunning and a bill our children, grandchildren, and future generations will have to pay. Perhaps this will teach many what some of us already knew, when voting for change, it is good to understand specifically what that change means. As the wise Benjamin Franklin stated, "He that lives upon hope will die fasting."

I have disapproved of everything this President has done. He does not listen to the people and is trying to push everything down our throats. I don't have a lot of wealth but I don't want to share with those other than who I decide. The people must rise up and show him our strength. Go Glen Beck, Carl Rove, Shanwn Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and Sarah Palin.

I agree with everyone who has posted. I am so worried about our country. How does everyone feel about the people? Do you think they will wake up before our country is distroyed? I prey our next president can undo the damage he has caused in the UN. How can anyone hate America as much as he does, because of our country he got elected yet he cannot say one nice word about us it's always something bad.

Good lord... wtf? I spent my $ to join a site which I assumed was a hub for people who share a passion for history and in the forums for it I find it filled with complete uneducated simpletons. Do you people even READ or do you get all of your historical knowledge from war movies and self-serving blowhards who love to shout about things for which they have no understanding? And by reading I mean something other any your damned "bible"... that does NOT count as history... sorry.

It's usually the person who resorts to name calling is the one who knows the least. I just like to say the KJV Bible, if you take the time to read it and it will take you time, is the best book on history you could find. The Bible was used to educate the founders of our Great Country, I also would recomend you reading The United States Constitution there you will find one of the reason the Electoral College, was to keep someone who didn't meet the high standards required to hold the Office of The President. Also the Judeo Christian back ground was very Inportant .
So mcboo I don't condemn you for your education or lack of and I don' see anything gained by calling names and at my age I have probably forgotten more than you will ever know.

Please do cancel your membership and go join Obama....you deserve what you get....as for the rest of us.....keep up with the tea parties and be prepared to fight the battle of your lives.....We need to save America from the idiots who have been elected and who decided to do thier own thing instead of listening to "We the people". I think perhaps the fact that President Obama is of African decent has many of you upset. They call that bigotry. In this day and age it is not cool to show such matters openly so these people resort to making all kinds of ridiculous charges.(READ SOME OF THE ABOVE COMMENTS). I too though this was going to be a discussion on history not a forum for a bunch of malcontent KKK want to bes, who spew there poisonous lies and half truths in an effort to distract people from the facts.

History! This Country has been so blessed. I'm proud to be an American and when I see the path we are headed down I have a right to be concerned. I see our government taking our God given rights away, I think thats more important than caring about the decent of our President. We are going to go the way of a 3rd world country if we don't get back to the Constitution. If they pass socialized health care, we can only pray that it will be in the courts long enough to get the President and his Czars and the liberals out of office. Now what is bigoted about that.
